I have a unique resume that gives me years of experience in all aspects of real estate.  In addition to my real estate license, I have my general contractor's license, and over 12 years experience building new homes and renovating existing homes.  I also have over 20 years experience as an investment advisor with 4 major Wall Street firms, too.  Not only can I look at a home as a place to live, but also as an investment.  My years of construction experience can help me determine how well a home was built and how difficult it would be to expand or renovate.
